   Hosts Mike & Alex extend a warm welcome to all at this charming and characterful Inn. Since the 15th Century The Royal Oak has been at the heart of the village and the focus of the community, offering locals and travellers welcome refreshment, and that tradition continues today.

Tasty, hearty pub food can be enjoyed by open fires or in the large back garden (weather permitting!) all washed down by well kept ales and a good selection of wines.

With a wealth of interesting features including the large inglenook fireplace and 80ft indoor well, The Royal Oak is a perfect place to meet up with friends and family. The stunning function room has seen many a celebration, and buffets or set menus can be tailored to any occasion, please call us if you'd like further details.

Live Traditional Jazz Night
Introducing Live Traditional Jazz on the first Friday of every month from 8pm, presented by The New Orleans Rhythmakers.

Traditional Irish Music Session
Last Friday of every month from 8.30pm. Enjoy a unique evening of celtic music played by talented musicians that meet once a month for a "jamming" style live music session. Free admission, food served 6.30 - 9pm.

Pub Quiz
Every Thursday evening from 8pm. £1 per person entry for teams of up to
6 people. 8 rounds including a picture round, music round, general knowledge and more. Winning team has chance to win the jackpot. A fun evening of questions, spot prizes and free lollipops! Food served 6.30 - 8pm.
